The Road to Electric Fleet For Food & Beverage Delivery: Case Study With Keurig- Dr Pepper And Over 3,000 Trucks Across the US

June 7, 2023 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Keurig Dr Pepper is one of the leading brands of coffee & carbonated beverages in the world, with iconic brands such as 7-Up, Dr Pepper, Peet’s Coffee, Snapple and Mott’s.  To support their clients, KDP operates over 10,000 rolling assets, including trailers, box trucks, yard tractors, forklifts and other fleet equipment.

As part of their Sustainability goals, KDP needed to create a Fleet Electrification Masterplan, create an EV charging strategy for their major depots, and engage a wide community of executives, drivers and stakeholders.

Working with NextEra Mobility,  KDP developed a Fleet EV Strategy, factoring technical suitability of electric vehicles; charging infrastructure and the associated electric load profile for each EV charging location; the total cost of ownership including CAPEX, OPEX and incentives; and GHG emissions reduction impact. Also EV charging and energy modeling was included for key company sites.

This webinar will walk behind the scenes to present details and insights from the project, enabling other delivery and food & beverage fleets to learn from this exceptional case study.
