Online Certificate Course
Registration is now closed.
Maintaining compliance with countless federal and state program regulations can be intimidating for even the most experienced fleet management professional. NAFA’s FMCSA DOT Maintenance and Compliance Course will provide critical insights and advanced methodologies needed to support fleet organizations in better understanding the important tasks necessary to maintain program compliance.
Through this four-part course, participants will:
- Understand the process to register your Commercial Motor Vehicle Uniform Carrier Registration Act compliance form.
- Define driver management requirements and how they apply to your fleet.
- Analyze asset and driver safety plans focusing on your company’s CSA Score.
- Define and outline how to manage International Fuel Tax Agreement (IFTA), International Registration Plan (IRP), and Heavy Vehicle Use Tax (HVUT).
- Understand vehicle inspection reporting, permitting, and DOT inspections compliance.
Through a blended format of asynchronous learning and live virtual review sessions, participants will be able to learn at their own pace and then connect and collaborate with the program facilitator. The course content will be delivered in four segments for the participant to view on their own. The live virtual review sessions will then include highlights of and discussion of that week’s topic, during which participants will have the ability to query the instructor. Upon conclusion of the four-week course, participants will gain access to the certificate exam. Those who successfully pass the exam will be awarded a certificate of completion.
