NAFA Conducts Job Task Analysis Workshop to Refine CAFM Program

Edison, N.J. (October 4, 2024)NAFA Fleet Management Association (NAFA), the vehicle fleet industry’s largest membership association, successfully completed a two-day Job Task Analysis workshop, held at Inspiration Mobility, the Electrification Accelerator™ of fleets in North America, offices in Washington DC. This collaborative event brought together fleet professionals to critically evaluate and enhance the Certified Automotive Fleet Manager (CAFM) program, ensuring it aligns with the current and future needs of the industry.

“This Job Task Analysis session is pivotal in setting the professional standards for the fleet manager role,” said Bill Schankel, CAE, CEO of NAFA. “By directly involving industry experts in the review and enhancement of our CAFM program, we ensure our certification remains relevant and valuable in an ever-evolving field.”

The workshop, held on October 2-3, 2024, focused on reviewing the CAFM program’s content and structure to better match daily tasks and challenges faced by fleet professionals today. Participants analyzed existing materials and discussed updates to ensure the program reflects the latest industry standards and trends.

The workshop also provided a valuable networking opportunity, allowing participants to exchange insights and practices utilized within their respective organizations, fostering a collaborative environment for innovation and growth.
